Sokal Media Group is pleased to announce their client, David Westcott, is now an official chairman of NADA (National Automobile Dealer’s Association). David Westcott, President of Westcott Automotive in Burlington, N.C., represents North Carolina’s franchised new-car dealers on the association’s board of directors.

NADA was founded in 1917 and represents more than 17,000 domestic and import new car and truck dealers. Out of all the U.S. new-vehicle dealers, 91 percent are now NADA members.
David Westcott has been a new-car dealer since 1981. Currently, he serves as chairman of NADA’s Dealership Operations Committee and also as a member of the Industry Relations Committee. He is also a member for the Board of Trustees of the Dealers Election Action Committee. Westcott was previously NADA's Region II Vice Chairman and a chairman to the Self-Insurance Fund with North Carolina Auto Dealers Association (NCADA). He was also chairman of the Buick National Dealer Council, GM President’s Council and Buick’s Brand Team., Westcott was President of the NCADA From 1995 through 1996, and received the TIME Dealer of the Year Award from NADA and TIME Magazine during his presidency.
